Our goal is to inspire intergenerational community involvement, promote responsible land stewardship, and empower self-sufficiency through collective action and education. We are a people-centered movement growing from the ground up.
What We Do:
Mentoring, learning, wellness and intergenerational programs that build skills, confidence, purpose and stronger communities.
We are committed to helping young people and communities build confidence, gain practical skills, build healthy relationships, and develop a stronger sense of purpose through the mentoring, intergenerational connection, and the development of programs that focus on experiential hands-on learning and health/wellness.
Where We Do It:
Beulah Ranch in Midlothian, Texas, the headquarters of 360grassroots, is becoming a place where the land itself can be part of the learning: a setting to plant, build, create, solve problems, and grow together.

Our mission is to support young people and their families and the communities they live in. We do this through the creation and management of programs that involve intergenerational collaboration, mentoring, experiential and hands-on learning opportunities that create lasting benefits for all.

The Founders & The Foundation:
360grassroots is a Texas-based public charity founded by Steve & Bridgette Hawks.
After more than 25 years of working with public charities and municipalities to create plans for their economic revitalization, the Hawks’ determined that they wanted to focus on developing resilient, sustainable projects that honored the past while recognizing that the challenges of the future could be met and managed; specifically, for future leaders.
They envisioned a future of social good as they worked to help small towns become revitalized by using existing structures to create the modern Main Street where community and business intersect– where everything produces both social value and commercial revenue.
Our current focus is on programs for individuals and families, initiating meaningful change at the neighborhood and community level. Initial offerings include the arts, community gardening, outdoor trails, and environmental education—with the intention of expanding to reach broader audiences over time.
We continuously strive to achieve the goal of “leaving things better than we found them,” and do our best to impress the importance of this concept on others; not by our words, but rather - by our actions.
